Starting from £11.50 per hour
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver personalised care and support to clients in their homes or local communities.
- Assist with daily living activities including hygiene, mobility, meals, and medication reminders.
- Monitor and record vital signs, reporting any concerns promptly.
- Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to implement tailored care plans.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, promoting well-being and dignity.
- Maintain accurate documentation of care provided and observations made.
- Ensure a safe, clean, and respectful environment in line with health and safety standards.
Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience in a healthcare assistant or support role.
- Completion of a recognised care training programme.
- Understanding of basic medical terminology and care procedures.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Empathetic nature and a genuine passion for helping others.
- Ability to work independently and within a team setting.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is desirable.
